The Union of Iranian Patriots in Thailand was born from a shared conviction: that distance from our homeland does not diminish our responsibility to it.

Until the days before mid-March 2026, we were strangers who merely happened to share a geography. From that day forward, however, we became a family whose hearts beat for Iran from Tehran to Zahedan, from Kurdistan to Mashhad, from Isfahan to Shiraz, from Rasht to Bandar Abbas, and every corner of Iran.

The birth of the Union of Iranian Patriots in Thailand is somewhat different from that of other associations and organizations. We did not come together for ordinary gatherings. It all began on January 8 and 9, 2026, with the start of the Lion and Sun Revolution of the people inside Iran. With the roar of the streets in Iran, ordinary life for us in Thailand came to a halt. Our eyes stayed glued to the news; our hearts wandered the alleyways of Iran. We could no longer remain silent. We had no choice but to raise our voices and cry out our pain.

In mid-March 2026, during Esfand 2584 of the Imperial Calendar, shared suffering and faith in freedom pulled us Iranians living in Thailand out of our homes and brought us together. We who, until the day before, did not know one another, became woven into the fabric of a single cause: unconditional support for our compatriots inside the country, echoing their voices of suffering and courage, and carrying their call for justice to the international community and to public opinion in Thailand.

We have gathered in this Union to be the true ambassadors of a people standing on the front lines. Our efforts rest on three principles:

• Echoing the Voice of the National Revolution: Carrying the message of the Lion and Sun Revolution of the Iranian people to the media, institutions, and citizens of Thailand and the international community.
• Building Unity and Solidarity: Creating a strong and united community of Iranians in the diaspora to support one another and organize civic initiatives and peaceful advocacy.
• The Fight for Freedom: Keeping alive and echoing the firm collective conviction that this is our final battle against the Islamic Republic  and that we will not rest until Iran is reclaimed.

For us, patriotism means standing beside the people who are giving their lives for freedom. Though we live far from Iran’s borders, our commitment to our homeland remains unwavering. Thailand is our host country, and we are grateful for its hospitality, yet all our strength, every word we write, every voice we raise, and all our energy are dedicated to the liberation of our homeland.

The Union of Iranian Patriots in Thailand is a home to all Iranians who believe that silence in the face of oppression is complicity with the oppressor. We will stand together, and alongside our compatriots inside Iran, until the last day, until the dawn of freedom, and until our return to a free and liberated Iran.

We will take Iran back.
