Contents of the Official Statement and Reading of the Accompanying Segment

During the gathering, the organization’s official statement and human rights positions were presented in Persian and English for the benefit of the public and international observers. In addition, a special thematic accompanying statement entitled “Mo’tareze,” focusing on the humanitarian dimensions of and opposition to the death penalty, was presented in both Persian and English.

Portions of these texts included:

• Emphasis on fundamental rights: Those present declared that the purpose of the gathering was to defend an undeniable human demand—namely, “the human right to live”—for all citizens of Iran.
• Appeal to the international community: The declaration explicitly called on governments, international institutions, and global public opinion not to remain silent in the face of the wave of executions in Iran, and to prevent the taking of human life as a tool of the regime’s power through diplomatic pressure and concrete action.

Program Details and Activities

1. Symbolic Execution Performance
   One of the key segments of the gathering was the staging of a symbolic performance depicting the process of executions in Iran. This performance was accompanied by simultaneous narration in Thai, allowing citizens and observers of the host country to more tangibly grasp the critical human rights situation and the scope of repression in Iran.
   
   
2. Playback of Remarks
   During portions of the program, excerpts from the remarks and positions of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi regarding the current political situation and the importance of the “A Nation Held Hostage” campaign were played for those present.

Conclusion of the Gathering

In its closing segment, the event featured the reading of a poem submitted by a poet residing inside Iran.

The Union’s third gathering officially concluded with the performance of an epic rajaz-khāni (defiant declamation) by one of the participants.
